Cufflinks Description
The Aymara Square Blue Dawn Butterfly Cufflinks the vivid blue colors of the wings from these phenomenal creatures will add an exotic touch to your cuffs. Each cufflink is extremely exhaustive, one of a kind, and will support the continuation and development of each species through your purchase. Pervian natives refer to all the 29 types of known Morpho species simply as "The Blue Morpho," to the gladness of lepidopterists. The cufflinks are made from real Morpho Helenor butterfly wings, which are then enameled over, and set in Pervuvian Sterling Silver. These butterflies are recognized by their saucer-sized wings, with broad vertical bands of brilliant blue on their upper sides and the distinctive white, black, yellow, and red concentric rings on their olive-brown underside hind wings. . The evolution of their wing coloring and ramble flight patterns confound their air-born predators, especially when they can snap their wings shut to reveal an unpleasant brown color. These charming creatures spend their mornings patrolling streams for dissolved minerals, dappling in the sunlight, and spend their afternoons mud-puddling in peccary wallows, or resting on the quiet surrounding foliage.
