Cufflinks Description
Aymara Blue Gem Circle Butterfly Cufflinks come from The Pilpintuwasi Butterfly Orphanage in Peru , where the quaint creatures expend their mornings looking for dissolved minerals around streams, dappling in the indistinct sunlight, and spend their afternoons mud-puddling or resting on foliage. The cufflinks are made from real Morpho Helenor butterfly wings, which are then enameled over, and set in oval shaped Peruvian Sterling Silver. The widths of the blue bands from their wings vary, so each cufflink is truly one of a variety and will add a hint of texturized blue color to your suit jacket. 10% of all the proceeds from these Butterfly Cufflinks go towards supporting the Amazon Animal Orphanage. Peruvian Sterling Silver is 95% pure silver and one of the best alloys of silver in world, which increases the cufflinks' strength, as well as their resistance to tarnishing. Morpho Helenor butterflies are a common species found through the neotropical region, and have a noticeable slow and bouncy flight pattern, which results in blue flashes of changing colors.
